About Higgs Welding

Higgs Welding has been in business since 1984, owned and operated by Brett and Troy Higgs from the Effingham, Illinois area. The business began in a 24 X 24 pole barn on their parents country farm repairing farm equipment and quickly grew into a larger facility specializing infabrication repairs and steel sales, and has been managed and operated by Bill Feldhake for the past 30 years. Their second shop, a 36,000 square foot facility, located in the nearby town of Dieterich, Illinois, employs 25 people and specializes in custom truck upfitting.
